iyfic_challenge's one-shot contest. Unfortunately, I've been having a lot of trouble with my internet connection lately, which conveniently decided to go down and wouldn't start working again until after the deadline had passed. This...irritated me. However, I figured that I'd put too much effort into trying to get it finished on time to just bin it, so I decided to put it up on FF.net in the hope of receiving at least some constructive criticism. Fat chance.

Genre: Hard to classify. ^^; It's kind of a mix of drama, angst and introspection, with a hint of romance.
Pairings: Implied Suikotsu/Kikyou
Rating: PG-13 for swearing
Summary: You can't have any good without evil. But then you can't have any evil without good either...
I'm still not sure about this one but then again, I'm never really that confident about posting my fanfiction. I always worry about my characterization or something. ^^; As I said, any comments (especially constructive criticism) would be much appreciated!
Oh well, at least I've managed to comment on nearly all the other entries to make up for it. (I would have got round them all but according to LJ the server that the community's hosted on was down for maintenance last night so it was stuck in read-only mode and I couldn't comment. Which might explain the lack of votes.)
It was my little brother Richard's 16th birthday last Friday. And Chris (my other little brother) has his 18th birthday on Thursday. So Happy Birthday to both of them. :) My parents now feel very old. XD
