kirin85Well, here's the drabble. It could still do with some work but I'll put the first draft up here for now. I haven't even checked the word count. (Stress make Helen go crazy! :p)
Constructive criticism would be much appreciated. Unfortunately, I probably won't have the chance to respond to it until I come back from holiday in a week's time.
(This is the first time I've tried writing from Kagome's P.O.V. I hope its at least passable.)
Title: Reflection (My apologies for the slight pun. I have a thing about wordplay in titles.)
Genre: Poetry? Introspection? Romance? (very slightly) I'm not really sure about this one.
Pairings: Slight Inu/Kag.
Length: I don't know! *sobs*
Summary: Kagome wonders just how alike she and Kikyou really are. (I'll do a better one when I come back. Too busy right now. T_T)
Reflection
We seem so alike
and yet
we are so different.
Your face mirrors mine
but it shows a different expression.
Our eyes are the same shade of blue
but we see the world in different colours.
We talk with the same tongue
but we speak with different voices.
You are you
as I am me.
I am Kagome.
To others, we seem like mirror images.
To myself, we are...
worlds apart?
And yet,
in that one small way
we are not so different, you and I.
Blah, I hate stress. Then again, who doesn't? XD
Please let me know what you think. Personally, I think some bits of it could do with a little tweaking but, as I said before, any feedback would be much appreciated.
